Nicky Corps 

Operations Manager / Executive Search / Business Psychologist

After graduating from Southampton University with a 2:1 Bsc Psychology degree in 2000, Nicky spent the next 9 years working for a successful independent Industrial and Driving agency. Starting her career as a Recruitment consultant, Nicky quickly progressed to Branch manager and finally to Area Manager. Nicky made the decision to open her own recruitment agency in 2009 after recognising a gap in the market for a niche specialist Engineering and Technical consultancy. Over the past 10 years Nicky has worked hard to establish a fantastic reputation as a leading Engineering, Technical and Commerical recruitment company. Operating from their Hythe based office Nicky and her team work incredibly hard to offer an approachable, honest and friendly consultancy service to clients and candidates both locally and UK wide

In 2018 Nicky qualified as a Business Psychologist following successful completion of a Masters degree in Occupational Psychology from Leicester University. This has enabled Red Chilli Recruitment to offer additional valuable services to clients and candidates including psychometric testing, coaching, customised assessment design, talent attraction and retention strategies. Nicky also focuses her time on Executive Search assignments for Senior Management / Director level roles

 

Beth Cox 

Recruitment Consultant (Permanent / Contract Placements - Engineering / Technical Division )

After achieving a triple distinction* grade in her Level 3 Extended Diploma in Business, Beth has chosen to develop a career in Recruitment. Recently completing her REC Certificate in Recruitment Practice (Level 3), Beth is an amazing, professional and dedicated member of the Red Chilli Recruitment team!

Beth is responsible for permanent and contract placements within the Engineering and Technical sector. Beth has built a valued client base and goes above and beyond to headhunt and attract the right candidates for permanent, long term and short term assignments.

David Morris

Recruitment Partner (Permanent Placements - Commercial, Hospitality & Leisure Division)

Spending his early career in IT, David went on to sell software before moving into Recruitment and Executive Search assignments where he enjoyed great success for over 30 years, primarily focusing on senior High Tech and IT roles all over Europe and beyond.

In a personal capacity, David has built up quite a large presence in the local Hythe (SO45) area and runs a sizable Facebook group centred on the area (13,500+ people and still growing). Via the group David has raised thousands of pounds for various local charities and organisations. David has several claims to fame in both the Radio and TV world!. David presented weekly phone-in quizzes as part of BBC Radio Solent, in which he was termed “Quiz Face”. He also won £3,000 on BBC 1’s The Weakest Link and has won Pop Master on BBC Radio 2 twice!

Red Chilli Recruitment are excited and proud to have David join their team. Combining his extensive recruitment experience with his local knowledge and involvement, David provides commerical, hospitality and leisure opportunities to local job seekers and clients alike.

 

Luke Steel

Recruitment Partner (Permanent Placements -  Rec 2 Rec Division)

Spending 5 years as a Royal Engineer in the British Army then moving into sales, Luke has had exposure to a variety of environments and stakeholders, which has given him a real methodical approach to recruitment. Marrying the right role to the right candidate is incredibly important to Luke, as is ensuring that any new hire recognises why their new company offers the best opportunity on the market.

Luke prides himself on the in-depth conversations with his candidates to really understand their needs from the outset, making sure there is a culture-fit and the benefits truly reflect what the candidate is looking for. After 5 successful years in recruitment, Luke joined Red Chilli Recruitment Ltd in 2019 to head up the Rec 2 Rec division assisting other recruitment professionals to find their next opportunity.
