After graduating from Southampton University with a Psychology degree in 2000, Nicky spent the next 9 years working for a successful independent Industrial and Driving agency. Starting her career as a Recruitment consultant, Nicky quickly progressed to Branch manager and finally to Area Manager.
Nicky made the decision to open her own recruitment agency in 2009 after recognising a gap in the market for a niche specialist Engineering and Technical consultancy.
Over the past 11 years Nicky has worked hard to establish a fantastic reputation as a leading Engineering, Technical and Professional talent acquisition company.
Nicky is responsible for the Engineering and Manufacturing division of Red Chilli Recruitment.
In 2018 Nicky qualified as a Business Psychologist following successful completion of a Masters degree in Occupational Psychology at Leicester University. This has enabled Red Chilli Recruitment to work in partnership with its sister company PsychoRecruit Ltd, to offer additional valuable services to clients and candidates including psychometric testing, customised assessment design, talent attraction and retention strategies.
Nicky holds Fellowship in Recruitment Practice certification (FIRP) and is qualified in Psychometric Testing and is on the British Psychological Society (BPS) Register of Qualified Test Users (RQTU). Nicky is also a member of the BPS and Association of Business Psychologists (MABP)

After serving with The British Army in The Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) for 8 years, Nigel moved into the recruitment industry in 1999. Over 20 years he has successfully worked for both national and SME level agencies, working with a wide range of clients from multinational corporate organisations to start ups both in the UK and Overseas.
